Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills or staining) in one session without having to swap out devices. They can also help save storage space compared to having two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's among the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean and complete dust bag, hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, making short work of dirt, pet hair, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of attachments and brushes and an intuitive app that lets you choose the type of cleaning you want for each room.
For example, you can choose to have the robot clean up the living and kitchen areas but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are superb as the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. Its only issue is that the robot is known to smash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will show you exactly what the robot has completed, where it's going, and which obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
The docking station comes with an LCD display that shows when maintenance is needed for cleaning up debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop come with plenty of running time as well, with the mop being capable of running for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is capable of running for 136 minutes in standard mode before having to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. It's not like the model from last year this one has a double agitator in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to pull up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners may miss.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that helps it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek, angular design is striking, and it only has three physical buttons. The power button, which restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml dustbin as well as a 200ml tank of water. The water tank automatically empties and the bin auto-refills.
The only drawback I could find in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. It is possible to replace the mopping cloth when needed, but it's difficult to take the mount off for washing manually. I've found that any plush carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and could cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities that include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app is where you can manage and set up these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, monitor battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to jump through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and soiled spots.

Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is beneficial because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours from building up in the storage. The app is easy to use and has many options for customizing your cleaning routine. The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks sophisticated and classy. robot vacuum reviews 's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg however it's not overly heavy, and is sturdy and well-built. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors as well as in corners. They can also extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice touch.
